Mascman, I hear what you're saying and it would definitely work but I like mud's idea about using Horgrida's plate.... I think the curve will fit nicely with the radius of the fender and should look great. I've liked those plates since I first saw them, Great job Hog....

Plus, I like the idea of dropping that plate down lower under the round light.

Default Light Just came in

Hey Mud, sitting at my desk and the Postal Service guy just brought my new taillight in. How do I get it to ya. Also talked to a buddy that does auto/motorcycle body/paint work. Said he can fill the hole by tack welding and filling the old space. He can even weld in a few washers to match up where the holes for the new bracket is going to go.

Now I'm thinking about having him weld a couple of those washers on the sides of the fender to mount the turn signals. I think the washers will keep the fender from cracking. I also found a bracket that will go under the plate and allow for mounting the turn signals. So, I'll look at both and see what looks best, but I'm thinking the fender mount will look cleaner. Just ordered some old school "beehive" turn sigs, think they'll look sweet with the taillight.

Received the light today.

Did some preliminary mockup work.

Used my HOGRIDA Texas Cut laydown plate slash inspection sticker bracket
to cut a pattern from a soda pop carton.

Punched some holes and then a quick mountUp to the MudGlide fender.

Looks like this is going to work out real well.

I'll look at this closer tomorrow.

Hooh Man that thing is gonna look sweet!!!! Way to go Mud, we are getting somewhere...... Can't wait to see it all together.... Wonder if the Hogrida mount can be modified to curve around or flap over the back where the wires are to cover them. We can use some looms if not. Man that thing is **** On!!!! I'm stoked :O
