Only problem left is to fill in the hole left by the current taillight.
Mascman's idea with the rivets might work for this,
Hog's plate looks like it would fit snug enough
to cover the hole if we give it something to mount to.

Yessir, and like I say, until I have the parts in hand,
not positive what direction to follow.

Definitely can be done.

yeah, looks good in the picture.

And, like you said earlier -
would probably look even better with the mini-bullet sigs

I have that on the mudGlide.

I'll use it to mockup and see what needs to
be modified on it to make this work.

Then, I will get with HOGRIDA and see about a modified version,
if need be.

Default Plate Frame

Right on guys, now we're rolling It looks like that thing will almost work perfect, just flip the inspection tab to the top and straighten it up a little then drill a couple of holes to match the light when we get it..... Only diff. may be the curve lower down on the fender as this will mount where the light goes now.

IMO, you should have gotten the light/plate holder combo...not the single light. Then just plug the holes from the stock plate.

When you remove the stock light, you will have mounting points to use in the cutout.

Just bolt a piece in there and drill into it to mount your new light/plate...quick and easy.

I'm guessing you are keeping the plate in the same location, but laying it down? If so, I'd get a nice wrap-around style.

I was thinking it would look like mine if you bought the combo...just leaving off the bottom light that I have.

Let's get a P-shopped mock up from MUD to get us all on track!
