You saying you'll give the mod a shot or the photoshop.....

I'm really wanting to do this now, really good look,
would probably look even better with the mini-bullet sigs
w/ the run/turn/stop modulator and the red lenses....

Yeah I meant the pShop.

I would not mind undertaking the light/plate mount for you.

Relatively simple operation, other than the paint.

I took a couple pics of my current setup.

The LED plate mount is from Ebay and the brake light is just a cheap oval normal filament bulb...I think I have less than $75 into it. The plaet is so close to the fender that you can't see the rivited piece behind it.

It may not be "truely" custom, but it's definitely not stock either!

All plate lights wired on high-intensity for a running lamp:

And the brakelight is seperate from the running lamp:

Off-track- I cut the stock AC cover like MUD does...my brother did the same thing but removed the stick-on part and it looks really sweet. I may end up doing that also.

Back on track!

It should be fairly easy.

If you remove the tail light and housing, you will have a place to bolt down a mount for your plate / light.

Hope to see it work out for you.

Default Mount

Wonder if we could use two plates, one under and one above that bolt together "sandwiching" the edge of the fender to fill the hole and provide a mount point??? Ideas?

Here's what I'm thinking (pix below)
but
until I have the parts in hand, don't know for sure.

This is HOGRIDA's Texas Cut flush mount for license plate
with the inspection sticker plate all in one.

A variation of this may work out.
STOP light would mount in the inspection sticker area.

Default Plate mount

Mud,
Nice!!! That looks like it would work perfect...... Only problem left is to fill in the hole left by the current taillight. Mascman's idea with the rivets might work for this, Hog's plate looks like it would fit snug enough to cover the hole if we give it something to mount to.

Mud, I think this would work great with that bracket/plate mount and be really easy.
