I love the rear fender and light on the 09. Im thinking of changeing my 08 to that. Looks good

 

When we were all bashing the 09, Mud predicted that within a few months we would all like it. Funny, seems he was right. Definatly looks better with your mods and pics than on the HD website.

 

That's the best lookin '09 SB I've seen so far. Where did you pick up the 412s from?

Cheapest I found them online was from Axiom Cycles. They listed them for 206.95 with 12.77 for shipping to Virginia. They gave me a military discount so the price I paid was less than the list.

 

I have to admit that the black shocks make the bike look a little better. I still can't figure out why they put black struts on the rear and chrome turn signals. It just ain't right.

BTW - I LOVE the handlebars!! The bike has some really nice lines and I bet it handles alot better.

 

Looks great brother .... I kinda like the baby apes that define the Street Bob, but it looks good with what you've got on there. I also like Muddy Ape's with the low profile bars, too.

The '09 looks are greatly improved by lowerin the rear an inch or so! Black shocks really enhance the looks, too.

By the way, can one of you guys riding the new '09 tell me what the part number for the seat is? I want to get one for my '05 ... I don't care that it's not supposed to fit. I'll come up with a "work around."

Actually he was wrong. We don't all like it. I still don't like the 09 Street Bobs.
I do like the shorter shocks on his bike though.

 

I'll say it again. Best '09 that I've seen. That rear fender looks so much better with a lowered suspension. Great work.
