I've been checking out the "Under $50 thread" there are some good ideas in there. I'm about halfway through the thread now, gonna look into doing a couple.

I had a '01 Camaro SS that I sold about a year ago, I turned 90% of the wrenches on that car with ease. I just have to get comfortable with turning them on this bike now.
The reflectors are a huge PITA. I just rip 'em off, scrape off as much of that double sided tape crap as I can with my fingernails, spray some "goo gone" and let it sit for a few minutes, then use good 'ole fashioned elbow grease. It took me a while both times I did it. It's a PITA, but it looks so much better.

sorry for the short hijacking of this post. Those ads are called vibrant intellitxt. At the bottom of this link you will see "external links" and you select the link according to your browser and it will show you how to block those advertisments. I was having the same issues and i found this solution... I was pretty hot when i saw hdf went with this type of advertising... But life goes on and i dont have too see those ads ever again.

OOPPS FORGOT TO PUT THE LINK IN, HERE IT IS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IntelliTXT

Sorry again, now back to your regularly scheduled program!!!

If you havent spent the weekend looking thru the under 50 bux mods (sticky on the dyna forum) then you need to.

But for sure one mod you need to do is the relocating of the front turn signals to the trees. I did not do mine as my signal wires are bundled with all the other wires running from the grips to the bike, didnt want to hassle with all that, although it does look much better that way. But my buiddies 08 fxdc the wires were not bundled in the loom but ran sepratly to the bike, so it was ended up takeing about an hour and the cost was only this replacemtn "ball receptical". You bike should have one already all you need is another, drill out for the mounting bolt and your all set.
