Man I would love to see someone do a blue white two tone on the tank or maybe a checker on the rear fender.

I really like the look of the bikes with the front fender removed ... have any of you ridden in the rain without a front fender?

I did it a couple of times; and as cool as it looks, it really sucks when you're caught in the rain or come across some wet pavement.

Just a word to the wise ... if you live in AZ or SoCal, go for it!

I know you said no buck / low buck mods but I will reply anyway. I have installed Rush 1.75" slip ons, stage 1 filter kit ( no down load ) Niterider XIED's , HD quick detach wind screen and and a Fehling solo back rest / luggage rack combo. Replaced the stock A/C cover with stock wrinkle black cover and replaced the stock derby cover with balck winged HD cover. Hopefully will be adding smoke lenses and head light trim ring soon along with a few more wrinkle black pieces. Enjoy you ride there are many choices for customizing. Congrats on you new toy.

Later,
Joe

K9,

My first mod consisted of a three in one deal. I went ahead and bought the pipes I wanted with the PC III, and the Ness big sucker. Once I heard the new sound of my unrestricted engine I was hooked. Just an Idea.

Thanks for the inputs everyone, I appreciate it greatly. Today I installed the layback plate holder and took off the upper/lower belt guards. I tried taking the reflectors off using my wifes hairdryer on high heat but them bitches won't budge. I'm grabbing the heat gun at work tomorrow and some fishing line.

I've been checking out the "Under $50 thread" there are some good ideas in there. I'm about halfway through the thread now, gonna look into doing a couple.

I had a '01 Camaro SS that I sold about a year ago, I turned 90% of the wrenches on that car with ease. I just have to get comfortable with turning them on this bike now.
