Default Chrome Switch Housings

I'm looking to get some chrome switch housings soon and have used the HD previously but see that there are others from Kury and Drag Specialties. These aftermarket pieces are less expensive. Has anyone used these, wondering if they fit and look as good as the HD stuff.

I got a loaded set of bars with controls off eBay. The fit is pretty good, though not perfect and I havent seen any issues with the chrome. All in all, I'm quite happy with them. I'm not sure who made them, but I suspect it was from Drag. I think it was well worth the savings in my case, though I'm sure anything can happen. I'd make sure whoever you get them through provides good customer service. Demons Cycle is where I got mine and though I'm happy with the product, their customer service sux..

HD doesn't make them nor does Kury. I'm sure they buy from the same vendor, and have their own names stuck on the manufacturers boxes.

I got the chrome switch housings, master cylinder, clutch perch, and levers from Rob,s Cycle Supply on eBay. I think I paid $140.00. They have been on the bike for a year, While I am sure the quality if not as good as the Harleys, I am very happy with the purchase. The finish has held up fine so far. If there are future problems, I am not out of that much money I believe a similar product is available through easternperformance.com for a similar price.

I have the Custom Chrome setup and it's fine. I have 1.25" bars and it wasn't an exact fit, but a little dremel tool worked just fine. I think it was the bars more than the controls. For the price - they were perfect...
