Checking to see if anyone has purchased the new distressed leather dyna saddlebags for their Fat Bob? If so how about some pics. Thanks

 

I was hopeing for the same thing, they look good on the internet, but really want to see some photos of them or in person

 

I´m not sure, if you mean these (look below ) by "distressed", but I have got brand new models of saddle bags on my Street Bob.

 

The ones I think we are talking about are the new distreesed ones from HD (see the attached) They look cool on the site, but have not found a local dealer with them in stock or anyone with them to tell us how they are... reviews !!!

 

THESE are exactly the ones you see on my Street Bob picture.

In my mind they have two bid advantages compared to other leather saddlebags I´ve seen from HD

1. There is a metal frame in the opening, so that it is pretty easy to get your stuff in and they keep better shape over the time

2. They have pushbuttons on the front and the back to close them.

Negative is, that they are not easy to remove, when you want to ride without them.

 

Will Harley bags for the Street Bob work for the Fat Bob? Seems like the folks at my local HD dearlership draw a "fat" line in between dynas and Fat Bobs. Seems like I cant get **** for my FB. I really would like to get some bags. Any sugestions on where to get them?

 

A Fat Bob is a Dyna. So yes, most things will fit.
You just have to pay attention to the part descriptions and any notes listed under it. Some will say fits all Dyna's except Fat Bob.

And on those parts, it's mostly because of the different exhaust system or the dual headlight assembly or front forks.

 

I am gonna be watching this thread. I need some saddlebags for my fxdf.
