According to my local dealer, the powder coat is bubbling on the lower fork tubes on some of the Fat Bobs (something about a bad primer job from factory). On mine there were very small bubbles towards the top of the lowers where the fork tubes slide in, but they said to me that we might as well take care of it so it doesn't become a problem later.

I have started round 2. Currently my hand levers, turn signals, brake pedal, and brake bar leading to the master cylinder are at the powder coater. $85 to coat all of those gloss black, not a bad price if you ask me.

Here is a teaser pic of the bike with the newly powder coated tins.

I installed the chrome flush mount fuel kit. Any one know why the black ones are for the 09 bikes only?
