Default Mocked up paint idea for FXD, couldnt cost much could it?

I did a quick mock up in photoshop. Found a emblem I like and now just out of curiosity what do you pros think it would cost to do the tank sides as pictured? Would you have to pull the tank? I wont be able to talk to any local painters till mid-week so I'm just wondering what others have paid for a small job like this one. I'm defintely not doin one of my Spray Paint jobs on the tank but if I did and screwed up it shouldnt cost any more to fix , right?

I like it... the white really sets off the red.

Thanks 07bobber I can swing both. To me it would add alot to the looks and for the money it would be hard to make this kind of impact with anything else.

Well I am a fan but I think you should do the fenders too! Maybe if you did silver it would be OK doing just the tank. Personally if it were me I'd do a cream and do all three tins. Of course I like the old school look though.

Look excellent ! Perhaps the fuel cap housing would look nice red also ? Either way the bike looks great .

Well cstolp heres a mock up of the Cream and you are right, it does look good w/ cream. jarhead was on to something. And *****-joe I agree the red on the housing would look good with this color scheme.

My old Sporty was silver and red and it did make the silver engine look good.

That looks great expy! I painted a two tone like that for someone years ago (burgandy w/cream inset) and there is no way I could do it without removing the tank, especially shooting the clear. Perhaps a little pinstripe to outline it, the cream looks good but the silver fits well with the engine too.
