Default Just Installed Jackyl's 2" Tank Lift!!!

I couldn't be happier with how it turned out, I can actually see my V-twin now. It didn't take long at all, 20 minutes in all probably...the hardest part is just fenagling the 2 bolts back through the tank brackets and the mount itself. I didn't opt to drain the tank initially, but in lifting it I've pulled a bit of the slack off the two spouts for the overflow line. Probably not a big deal as there's still about a half inch of the line on the upper and lower male ends, but I'm OCD about my bike so.......I used the longer line Jackyl included and replaced it. Everything's perfect now.

I'll post pics later, thanks again Jackyl!

Thanks again Jackyl! I'll have pics up tomorrow, it's dark out now.

Let me say, fit and finish is exceptional between the bracket and the tank/frame....and the weld is superb. Jackyl says it's a certified weld, and dammit it is.

I installed my 2" lift about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The quality, fit and finish, of the lift was superb. It took me about 30 minutes to do the install because the stock fuel overflow line was a bit too short so I had to use the longer crossover line that comes with the kit and replaced it with that.

Kudos to Jackyl for a great product.

For me it was purely aesthetic, and affordable! It lifts the front end of the tank 2" and shows off more of the v-twin...gives it a bit more of that custom look I want, while still being a HD!

It's the kinda mod where people realize you've done something cool looking to your bike...but they're not sure what.

I'll have pics up tomorrow.

Jackyl's tank lift is the only part that I have bought for my bike that did not need any modifications, I installed the 2" lift on my FXDSE, (good thing I did not order the 3") the speedo and tank miss each other by less than 1/4". looks geart, well built. Jackyl could probally sell these for atleast $50.00.
