I would like to install the 2" lifts on my 03 Ann.Wide Glide but i understand this can't be done . Anyone know why?

Going to install the 2" lift today. Only problem I see is the hose under the tank looks like it might hit the frame. Could this be a problem? Did any of ya'll have to empty the tank for the install?

 

jackyl : PM'd you to buy a 2" lift w/no reply. Refuse to use PayPal as they won't let me cause I used two different CC's and my info is crossreferenced and that makes me a fraud. Installed Jackyl's 2" lift about a month ago. Took about 20 minutes. I did not need to change out the crossover tube and I had no clearance issues whatsoever. Besides the great look, my tach and speedo are easier to see, the fuel gauge reads more accurately and the wind seems to be displaced better. I can't imagine a better mod for the money. the reason the 03 anniv cant use the 2 inch is because they have different mounting tabs on the tank that will interfer with the mount. jackyl

 

Any idea if this bracket will fit the 07 Wide Glide?

Your gauge will read a little lower than it really is...that's about it.

 

The tank lift looks good. I'm seriously considering doing it to mine too.

 

Anyone have this on a fatbob yet? Can I see it before and after on an actual fatbob? Thanks And I do like it on the others just wanna see first...
