Calling all 14" windvest owners
Gentlemen, I'm still trying to find the "sweetspot" for my Windvest. I remember reading somewhere (but can no longer find that post.) about the windvest setting being eye or nose level (mid bridge), but I can't remember. So my question is for the guys (and gals too) that have found that sweetspot, how do you have it set, and/or what level is the top of the Windvest at ? I did lower the windvest on mine so now most of the buffeting is coming from the sides. The top of the windshield is about 3"-4" below eye level, so I'm thinking about replacing the 14" with the 16"x16" but some say the 16" would not look good on my bike . BTW, my SB got 1-1/4" t-bars. Thanks in advance and any help would be greatly appreciated.
One more thing, is the "tinted" Windvest Ok at night/dusk or is it to dark ?
Thanks again

Mine is about 3-4" below my line of sight and works just fine. I had to do some adjusting with the tilt until it was finally right. I bought the clear just to be sure it would be okay at night but it probably wasn't necessary. Now that I have the clear I really like the way it looks, from a distance it's almost invisible.
