G, what's the deal with the throttle bosses? How do they work? Don't mean to sound too much like a dipchit but I've never seen 'em. I understand they help out on the long haul? Thanks. Timmer

ISO Grips are the best! Go to any bike event and you'll see every other bike has got em.

The Throttle boss allows you to use your palm to keep the throttle open while your fingers can open their grip and relax.

ISO Grips not unique so if that's important to you, go with something else.

The throttle boss works great. your palm naturally rests on it, and makes it a whole bunch more comfortable on the long rides, since you don't have to keep a firm grip on the throttle rolling down the highway and your palm does the work. I first used the plastic type slip on ones, like the crampbuster, but didn't like how it fit on the grip. it seems akward since it took up some of the grip area. the Kury throttle boss just fits great and you don't even know it is there. put another one on my right grip on my UC to provide a rest for my left palm.

Not to hijack the thread...but how is it possible to remove the rubber pads from the grip without ruining them? I'd like to powdercoat or rattle can the grips, then put the pads back on.

Tim,
I put the premiums on my Bob and really like them. They seem to be bigger around than other styles so that took alittle getting use to. They do help prevent numb hands on long trips. The throttle boss is a must have.
