Does anyone know the correct inch lbs. on the hardware for the engine and tranny covers on a 05 Wide Glide. I bought a service manual and it isn't in yet an I would like to work on it tonight. I bought the chome hardware for it and it says to look in the service manual for specs. Thanks!
The below information is located in Section 7 - Transmission of my 2001 HD Dyna Service Manual under “Torque Values”. Maybe the 2005 Service Manual will be same.
Clutch Release Cover (R/H Side) - 6 - places - 84 to 108 in lbs
Top cover - 5 Places - 84 to 108 in lbs
