Just wondering if any of you have ever heard your clutch making a "click" sound when you squeeze it in to switch into 2nd gear? When I'm in 1st gear & I take off, as soon as I squeeze the clutch to go into 2nd gear I hear a clear & distinct "click" that sounds like it's coming from somewhere down low? Any ideas?

 

have you tried to adjust the clutch? could be the adjustemtn is off? i can walk you though the adjustment... takes about 10 min to do

 

My bike's currently at H-D getting looked at. It's definately not coming from the clutch housing, it's a very clear & distinct "click" that sounds like it's coming from somewhere around the inner primary area? Hopefully H-D is doing to adjustment your talking about as we speak?

 

Have an 06 FXDC and have noticed a click when i pull off from house and clutch in for a junction about 30 yards away....just put it down to something being cold, its the only time it happens

 

When in bumper to bumper traffic and I am working the clutch there is a click when clutch goes in and out. Works OK. Just something with the 09,s I guess. I will ask the dealer when I go in for pips and dynotune. I also ordered a new rear rack out this year. Rack has red LED lights on the back. Looks pretty good in the catalog. Click in clutch when it engages is the only thing that I have found on this 09 that is perfect.
