Default Is it needed to buy every thing else

I have a 08 fxdwg i would like to get a set of SE slip ons do I have upgrade
air / tuner right away ?

All I did was put on the pipes, nothing else.

No, when using slip-ons you can just install them and then go for a ride. Once you do a full exhaust system then you should upgrade the air cleaner and add a fuel management system.

Im just running the SE Slip-ons and nothing else and runs good.

Better sound than stock but still not very loud.

+1.....No other upgrades needed. Different story if you are going full exhaust

I'm running just the SE slipon's too on an 08 Lowrider. No other upgrades at this time. I agree they sound better than stock but should be louder. I was looking at taking the baffles out and modifying them by cutting off part of the baffle or drilling more holes in it. I don't know what kind of bolt head they used to hold the baffle in though. It isn't a hex or and allen head and it isn't a screw. It isn't a rivet. Anyone know what it is? Has anyone modified these baffles and what is the result?

If you change just the pipes,you can get by with that alone.When you change the air cleaner and the pipes you should re map the ECM
