Stage 1 is the best bang for the buck. Any further gains are going to cost you $$$. Considering that the TC96 is running 63-65HP, mine after being Dyno'd, with V&H BR, PC III, and a high flow filter jumped to 77 1/2 HP and is pushing 92 ft lbs of torque. That is a significant jump from stock.

My Clymer manual for the '91 - '98 Dynas with 80" EVO's listed as 69hp and 82ftlb tq at 5000 rpm. Wait till my twinkie rideing buddies hear their 16" bigger motors are running less power than my EVO was stock . LOL.

Cheers... Ben.

My bike got 73,6 hp and 118,5 Nm torque on the rear wheel after the dyno. And the
engine runs much "smoother" than before the dyno and less vibrations also so this was
a big difference in handling, feels much better.I have SE 1 air,PC 111 and Rush slipons.

A 10% increase in 65 HP = 6.5 HP, so if the Stage 1 gives you 10-12 more HP (which is an 18 to 20% increase) is it worth it?
It WAS for me!

with stage one filter and exhaust my bike was not all that much better....the reason:
I made the mistake of following the jetting advice given out here(did not do anything for my bike performance wise)

....I put a dynajet kit in the carb last weekend and now the bike runs real strong...the difference is amazing...
moral of the story is the right tune will matter more after getting the stage one done than anything else to get the performance!
