Default Every Time I Look at the Chrome Derby Cover...

...on my SB, I hate it a little bit more. Has anyone installed a Night Train derby cover on their FXDB? Any issues with the gaskets? Cuz that's the part I think I might replace the stocker with...

Are you talking about the black derby cover with the fins to match the cylinders? I like that one and have been thinking of replacing mine with it too.

Nope, I'm talking plain powdercoat like the rest of the drivetrain.

The part number is 60713-07 is for Night Train -07 up and all -07 upbig twinshave the "ring" gasket.

I have, i even got the horn cover replaced on the bob from a Night Train 2001...

You can have your stock parts powder coated to match rather than buying new parts. Save money and no extra parts!

i like the black fin collection covers, have that on my bike and goes great with the jugs... also the new dark custom collection is sweet... if i woulnt have put the black fin on i would have done the dark custom...

The part is about $30...would powdercoating be cheaper than that?
