custom made derby cover with matching points cover on my ride... after finished making it i did a bit of powdercoating to make it POP! do something diffrent man!

It looks good but it seems shinier than the stock parts in your pics.
i think the shiny effect was due to the flash of the camera, here are a few i took today with no flash. its really not very much of a difference in color. the fork lowers i did with krylon primer, black, and BBQ paint. so far its held up great. didnt have to take the forks apart either. just took the wheel,fender, and brake off masked up everything and painted away. let it set overnight and put her back together.

Ok, yea that does look better in those pics. As soon as my fork lowers get bad enough I'll paint them either silver or black. How much sanding did you have to do to them?

I just got my finned derby cover on. I was thinking maybe going with the night train wrinkle black one, but I like this one.
