Mine is ticky only in fifth between 50 and 60 or so. Only 700 so far so i'll finish breakin and have them listen. I thought it was wierd too. Definate old school sears and roebuck noise.

Just got mine out of the Stealership for the same problem. After going thru the primary completely, the only thing ofinterest was that the chain tensioner had ratched up (self adjusting) and had a fair amount of tension on the primary chain. What really makes me think now is that the bike is much quieter after they just "LOOKED" around. I run Formula+ in the primary. Not sure what they put back in. Long story short....The nloise coming from the left side of the bike is nothing compared to the right side where the Thunderheader lives.

Fix:
1. Install loud pipes.
2. Take off windshield.
3. Full face helmet.
4. Ipod

No more sewing machine! Oh, and detemine shift points through scrotal vibration.

1) Loud pipes are installed. Thunderheaders are plenty loud.
2) I never have ridden with a windshield, and don't expect to either.
3) Eh, not a big fan of full face helmets. Although, that one guy who posted with a picture of him riding, I'm digging that full face..
4) And I always ride with an ipod in one ear.

Haha.. So when are we going riding topspin?! You do any good rides around here lately?

Cheers,
Adrian

There is a way to fix the annoying ticking noise. Its about $400-$500 plus labor if you dont do it yourself. A buddy has an 07 bob like mine and put a nice set of Roller Rockers on. Stupid ticking is all gone. When I put on my chrome rocker covers, Im gonna drop on the roller rockers at the same time.
