Default Front Wheel

Does anybody know if a 21" wheel can replace the stock 19" wheel on a Super Glide?

Thanks,

I don't know for sure ,but isn't the 19" and 21" wheels around the same height. Since the Superglide and Custom Sportster use the same forks it should work cause the custom sporty uses a 21" front wheel.

I asked a local priviate bike shop the same question and he said that it probably wouldnt be a problem changing it over to a 21in. He said that at the worst you might have to change out the front fender but other than that it shouldnt be much different.

Hell Razor , I would ccheck and see but the front tire on a FXWG should be 21". The only difference would be the tire height from a 19" to a 21" tire.

Yes. The stock WG 21" wheel/tire package is only slightly taller than 19" combo. I think the differance was about 0.5". But the WG wheel/tire is thinner, with a thinner fender to match. It will easily bolt on to your forks, using the SG axle and spacers. But it might not look right compared to the fender.

Given harleys interchange ability I would think this should be a
fairley easy swap.

Yes, but I'm 99% positive it would have to be a narrow glide wheel. The wide-glide/softtail wheel hub is too wide for a mid-glide or narrow glide front end. There just isn't enough room for the rotor and caliper. You would also have to make sure you have the right size bearings.
