I know there have been a lot of post similiar to this and some of you folks are getting sick of seeing them but please humor me! &nbsp\\;\\\\\\;I'm looking to get my first bike and I keep flip flopping on which on to get...so now I'm just going by what I will be able to afford( thats not a Sporty). The SGC and the SB are both in the same price range. Which is the better buy? I know the SGC sits an inch higher(I'm 5'6) and has more chrome but is there anything else? Which would you choose and please explain why. Thanks in advance!&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;

 

I would choose a streetbob cause I did choose a street bob!&nbsp\\; Not a 09 though, new look isn't appealing to me.&nbsp\\; I feel they should have given it a different name,&nbsp\\;just my opinion though!&nbsp\\; Street bob simply because going into buying a new bike I already new what I wanted to do with a bike.&nbsp\\; It's pretty much what matters to you, cause they are both great bikes!&nbsp\\;

 

I have to agree with chad, I feel the same way except I bought the superglide custom.

 

tuff call...super glide is already set up for 2-up..so that fits my style better...

 

I had the same dilema, til sunday when I had the dealer sit them side by side and really liked the Demim black SB and got it! I love it, i debated since march! Once I saw the 09, I decided I liked the 08, so 08 it is. I can't wait to customize it!

Beside the chrome....I liked the Handlebar height and the Tank/dash config on the FXDC ...

I guess its all in where you plan to go. The FXDC has the biggest bang for the buck in chrome, and you get a cool battery box band. With the 08 bob, you got a black motor, that you dont get for 09.

 

Look at the bright side, theres only 2 models of Dyna that have Glide associated with them (3 last year). Everything else is a Boob
