I know a local Indy guy who will install new tires for $25 per wheel&nbsp\\;front or rear, he'll take it off or you can, either way. I've yet to need a change but will do it myself when the time comes. I tend to believe others won't be as respectful to my bike as I will.

Mud,
Hey thanks for your input.
BTW what tire is that? The SE 180.
Also to throw the question out there regarding the front tire, are most guys out there changing the front to every 2 rears.

You still have some miles left on it but it won't handle well in rainy weather.

Yea I have found that out about the rainy weather already. We get afternoon thundershowers here just about everyday, and I get stuck in one about 2x a week and it sucks .LOL

Chris,
Screaming Eagle 170/60.

This is the tire that is stock on the Screaming Eagle Dyna FXDSE CVO machine,
and the Screaming Eagle Road King FLHRSE.

Part # 41998-07

As to the front, yes they last longer.
I change it when I do the rear though.

And it's not hard to DIY, and you don't need to buy an expensive jack. http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/bikelift.htm
