I'm posting this for a friend of mine who wants to change the rear brake pads on his 03 lowrider, he wants to know if he can just&nbsp\\;take the calliper off and remove the pads or does anything else have to come off to do this,any help in this would be great,is it as simple as it seems(never),thanks for any instructions you can give,&nbsp\\; Doug

 

on my '05 the pads will come out by removing the 1/4" 12pt pins that hold em there...no caliper removal necessary

 

I have an 03 I just changed the pads on. Very easy job. No need to take the caliper off. I did take a little fluid out of the reservoir and used a wooden paint stirring stick to pry open just a little bit. 30 minute job tops.&nbsp\\;
