The barebacks work as advertised as long as you take the time and line them up perfectly. I made my bag supports, fitted the barebacks, then mounted the bag to the support. 10 seconds on and off.

Keep in mind that with the barebacks you can mount the bags too close to the bike. It will look great, but the axle will tear up the bottom of the bag every time you bottom out. Dont ask me how I know

Ok,thanks.I should check this clearence to the axle.On benwiggin2 photo from the rear of the bike the clearance looked ok between
axle and bag.

Update on the barebacks.&nbsp\\;One of the collars definately sticks, and is difficult to slide against the spring. I am considering shipping it back to them, but otherwise after carefull alignment, the bags are now easily removeable.

Was there no turn signal relocation involved? I just wondered if the bags are smaller to accomodate stock signals...I'd rather not move the ones on my Street Bob...
