Default Anyone running a 180/55/17 rear tire?

I've got a 2006 Streetbob and I need to start thinking of replacing my rear tire before it gets to worn out. when I change it I'm going to go with a 180mm and have heard of a few members putting on a 180/55/17 sportbike rear tire and was wondering who all has one and how it's working out. If anyone has pics of the rear end and profile pics of the tire on the bike I'd love to see them. I am currently looking at the Dunlop D220 Sport/Touring tire for a harder compound to last longer than the usual soft sport compound, I had the D220 on my crotch rocket and got alot of mileage out of it and it hooked up good.

i got an Avon Storm, 180/55 on mine, the low profile makes it a little pinched on a 4.5" rim, consequently ....

if you like scrubbing the edge of your tire you can forget it as everything decks out way before the edge

sport bike tires will not last on a cruiser... they weight way to much you have to get a cruiser tire

avon as above or Metzler make some great tires like you are talking, it is pushing stock rim though

the "Storm" is a sports tourer tire, but would be happier on a 5.5" rim. I'm going 18 rear and 21 front soon anyway

I am trying to fit a Michlen radial 190x50x17 on the rear of my StreetBob.

I already have the front tire on the bike and it handles great. Doesn't follow the tar snakes or grooves at all.
