Need some ideas on cutting rear fender
Hey all, just want some input on to how I should cut my rear fender. I have the SE 180 on there, and I ride 2 up often so just wanted some input on what you guys think I should do. I was thinking about cutting around the fender rails, then back down the fender and make it spike at the end, or just cutting it straight leaving more of the rear tire exposed. Watcha guys think?

You ride two up alot? \\; That woman's a keeper...cause I had nothing but complaints of the beyatches that used to straddle my Badlander seat...anyhoo, ifn' you're are married ask if she likes water and mud on her back too... cause if you hack the back fender she'll be wearing that goop. \\; Oh well, if you do chop it, bob it.

Haha yeah, my womans a keeper. Not married yet, just engaged. I spend a sh!tload of money on my bike and she doesnt mind. She actually supports me! I just ordered some progressive 412 HD 11 inch and a side mound tail light from dreamweaver so that I can do this project. Oh, and by the way, she loves the badlander seat. I rode 100 miles in about 4 hours time (slow beach ride) and she didnt complain once!

RE: Need some ideas on cutting rear fender
Check the JP Cycles catalog, they offered an aftermarket "bobbed" rear fender for the Sportster and Dyna models a few years back when I was building my sporty, gave it a nice cleaned up appearance. I went with the smooth/bobbed model which eliminated the rear taillight location then I added a sidemount taillight/license plate. Below is a pic of the rear fender I installed on the sporty.
