in that case it may be warped... you can get a new rotor for pretty cheap

you can pull the brake caliper off and spray thouroughly with brake cleaner.... I have done this twice ... it stops mine from making a rubbing noise... may be what you are experiencing....

gonna try this again... when i bought my 05 FXDC last year my brakes rubbed and sounded warped(along with little pulse).
common occurance is the pads and caliper get dirty..$2.50 for some brake cleaner.. $3.95 for a 12 pt 10mm socket...remove caliper from fork and spray liberally with cleaner 1st....if persists then think about a new rotor!!!

I have had it done successfully in the past but good luck finding anybody that knows how to do it. I worked at a gold n chrome plating shop for a few yyrs and the polisher was an old man who did it for free if we worked there, he really know his **** though, probly next to impossible to find anybody to do it right now, I would try rounders idea and if that dont cut it either live w it of replace the sucker.

You can buy a refurbished HD rotor for really cheap. I bought some from www.usachrome.com. Patrick Curran. I think price was $45, fully polished, and checked for warpness. I think they also sell used rotors, not polished, for like $25 each. American Revolution, Inc.
