Default New microTach! Very cool.

Just added this little thingy to my ride. Wanted a tach, but didnt want to add anything big to the bars or console...this fit the bill perfectly. It is unobtrusive and works great.

It was a breeze to install, and the customer service was first rate. I sent an email with a question, and had a reply within 45min! Highly recommended.

Appears to be right on. I didn't have much time after the install to go out and run it through all the paces. However, I plan on hooking my computer up to the TMAX/ECM and monitoring RPMs through the TMAX software, comparing that readout to the micro tach. It taps into the Databus wire, which is what talks to the TMAX, so they should be the same.

As an alternative, I've been using one of these on my last two bikes. They are dead on accurate and have a fast sample rate.

The Microtach is cool, had one on my sportster and worked excellent and very easy to install. I am getting one soon for my SB and installing is on the brake resivore in black. The company is very helpful if you have questions or concerns. They have them in chrome also but I liked the black one best. I think they are around $150 and the double sided tape for mounting is very secure.

hmmmm, I think the digital&nbsp\\;tach retracts from the overall theme of the streetbob. I see the streetbob as a old school type of bike and a gauge would seem to fit better.

Just my opinion. Everyone has their own vision and I bet I would change my mind if I saw it in person.

Hey BR, I usually am inclined to think the same way here but after having one and using it and how stealthy it sits up on the brake resivor I was sold. When I get some pics I will post as a new thread. I think we are on the same link here becasue I dont really want it to be seen and that is the way it installs here.
