It's give and take. \\; It marks up easier, but I think it's actually meant to. \\; Glossy paint marks up just as easy, but the difference is it's in the clear coat, which is why you always see swirls in sunlight.
On denim, those marks show up in the paint. \\; However, if you read the owner's manual, it describes the paint as meant to mark up. \\; this is meant to give it a vintage, worn look...hence the name denim...much like a pair of denim jeans that wear/age over time and give them their look.
