Grip recommendations for numb throttle hand??
Hey all,
 \\;
 \\; Can anyone recommend a good \\; set of grips to help with the numbness that happens after riding about 1/2 hour? \\; I have tried loosening my grip but that does not seem to help. I think in is coming from the vibrations. Anyone with experience with grips that cured the problem please leave your recommendations.
 \\;
Thanks
Joe

I doubt that it is the vibration. The likelier case is the size of your hands and your riding position. You might be feeling it in your hands, but the real culprit might be your seat, your pegs, your bars, or some combination of those things.
New grips dress up a bike, but rather than getting them I would suggest a Throttle Rocker one of those adjustable black plastic paddles that slip over the grip. See if that helps. Kuryakyn grips can be equipped with a nicer-looking paddle a Throttle Boss, as they call it . Those work nicely, too, and perhaps look a bit better. On the other hand, you cannot fine-tune how they are adjusted. This can be important, because the positioning of the paddle can affect the speed at which you ride.

+1! \\; I just installed one. \\; It was $11 at the Stealer. \\; MAN!, what a difference. \\; It was a bit weird to get used to, but once I did (in about a day), it has been GREAT!

I started a habit \\;holding the thottle with index and middle finger when not shifting and lo and behold today I noticed my two inferior fingers were hanging loose on their own. Of course when accelerating my grip is tight, but , no more numbness! try that before going off and modding your ride, spend the moola on a couple six packs!
