Default Dyna Kickstand, any solutions?

Am I the only one that feels like an idiot pulling up somewhere and having to look down trying to hook my toe in the kickstand on a 07 Dyna? Total PITA to find, especially if the passenger pegs are down...Anybody have a solution, haven't seen any extensions in the catalogs for a Dyna? I'm wondering about the possibility of putting a small electric solenoid like a door lock under there that doesn't connect to the stand at all, just a momentary on thing that kicks it out far enough to catch it easy with foot..[sm=confused06.gif]

use your heel.

also - hd makes an extension - go to their website and you'll find it.

No - I don't think you're the only one.&nbsp\\; But, Harley does have the jiffy stand extension - this isn't directly to the Harley site but the first one I could find (here at work - time is short) http://www.latus-harley-davidson.com...-Extension.htm

being my first HD it was hard as hell finding that thing - even reached back and placed it down a few times. But! I eventually got the hang / feel of it....

I have no problem, use my heel to grab the jiffy stand. Works every time.

Practice grabbing it with your heel, just like ord sgt says. Pretty soon, it'll become second nature.

Then go hop on a Sporty and you get to learn it all over again, cept with your toe.
