Not sure how long you,ve had your dyna but its a practice thing, as said use your heel (sat on the bike)&nbsp\\;and soon it will be second nature.

+1 on using your heel.&nbsp\\; Been doin it for years and your heel just goes where it belongs without hunting.&nbsp\\; I think I would have a problem with trying to use my toe.

use your heel.

also - hd makes an extension - go to their website and you'll find it.

My Dyna has an extension and it makes things a lot easier. Quick side note: what is up with Harley calling it a "jiffy" stand? What a dumb name!! It's a kick stand, not a jiffy stand. Jiffy stand just doesn't sound very Harleyish.

&nbsp\\;I've got one on each of my Dyna's, it's the cat's meow, the bees knees get the point. So easy to put you don't have to use a manual.

I must be doing it wrong. I use my toe, but no problem finding it. I do use my heel to kick the passenger peg up though.

The 1st day or so i had the same problem and even harder with boots, now after a few days and using my heel, i can kick that thing down fast. No need for any extentions.
