Default detachable windshield with ape hangers??

Hello guys my uncle just bought a 04 dyna wide glide which has some pretty high ape hangers.&nbsp\\; He is just wondering if he can put a windshield on for trips.&nbsp\\; If so does anyone have the part number that fits this bike.

I have the HD version of the quick detach - it clamps to the forks, so handlebars have nothing to do with it.&nbsp\\; I think that is probably the case for all windshields... unless the bars are pushed so far forward that they would hit the shield itself.
&nbsp\\;
Search through the online catalog, or printed, the part number is in there.&nbsp\\; Wide Glide fork tubes are thicker that regular, so you are limited when looking for quick detach that doesn't leave ugly hardware behind.&nbsp\\; Only last year, I think it was, did HD come out with the quick detach for the pre '06 Wide Glides

The bars would have to be pushed pretty far forward for it not to work.&nbsp\\; I've got the mini apes on my street bob pushed forward and have no problems with the QD windshield.&nbsp\\; Ask the dealer if there is one there you can try to see if it fits.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

regular... it is great for wind protection... i like to look though my shields not over them... i know that is not how it is supposed to be but that is what i like... i am 5'9, sit real low in my seat and if i arch up can easily see over it.. i highly recomend this shield! exp at speeds like that... let me know how you do... i was at 115mph the other night&nbsp\\;and roaring smooth and clean... even better i still had room to run! it was so smooth even at the high speeds!&nbsp\\;

I do the same thing.... Look through... If I keep it real waxed then the water beads right off if I get cought in the rain.... And I do not get hit by it as much...

I've got the stock mini ape hangers on my Street Bob and no problem at all with a Memphis Shades Rio Grande windshield.
