This weekend I took the first long ride on my new Street Bob. I ventured from the East coast of South Florida, to the West coast of Florida, North of Tampa Bay. It was amazing! The bike ran great, the weather was good, (for the most part), and my riding companions were awesome. We logged in almost 1000 miles and it was pure Harley heaven.
What a difference in riding enjoyment by getting out of the city and in to the country! It was the first time in two months of owning my bike that I was not cut-off or pulled out in front of by some idiot in a car.
I will have a sh@* eating grin on my face for days to come!Jay

 

Yea You get away from the coast there are some less stressful roads to ride.&nbsp\\; Coral Springs to Tampa and back, 1000 miles you must have done a lot of zig zagging across the state.

 

Our destination was about a 500 mile round trip. We racked up another 375 on day trips to Cedar Key, Ocala and the surrounding areas. I cant wait to go back!

Ocala area is the best riding in Fl.&nbsp\\; My son is in school in Gainesville and I am taking a few days off to go ride with him.&nbsp\\; Leaving wednesday and coming back sunday.
