Default New helmet and helmet lock location

Just got my new carbon fiber helmet.
What a fit and light as hell.
Took a couple of weeks but worth it.
My question is I thought of a helmet lock
to protect my 180 dollar investment.This will be used when bike is out of view.
But where to mount the kuryakin helmet lock on
a street bob?
Anyone use one of these and where is it mounted.
thanks

Dont leave that thing on your bike.&nbsp\\; It is way easy to cut a strap and take it without even looking suspicious.&nbsp\\; I carry that helmet with me when I leave the bike.

I lock my helmet to the triple tree with a gun cable lock. http://www.remington.com/products/ac...earm_locks.asp
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
edit: sorry the link is messed up by the forum's //&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\formatting...&nbsp\\;\\\\\\ ;The product is from Remington and I paid maybe 10 bucks for it.

Was the size good? I wear XL on most helmets. Is the carbon fiber helmet size the same as others?

I had the same dilemma a couple of weeks ago after picking up my new FXDWG. Didn't really want a bolt on helmet lock on the frame or handle bars. Also didn't want my chrome titatium brain bucket bouncing into any metal edges if the wind kicked up. I went with a kuryakin license plate mount helmet lock.&nbsp\\;I&nbsp\\;mounted it on the jiffy stand side of the bike so about all it will hit is the rear tire.&nbsp\\;

I actually measured my head and went by the chart on the web sight.
I wear am xl with other brands but got a large from carbon fiber.
The helmet comes with 3 sets of padding to make adjustment.
I like the med padding.

What's the use of cutting the staps on the helmet to steal it? It's not like it's any use afterward.
&nbsp\\;
If you're getting a Kuryakin lock anyway, why not put on a set of iso-grips and get the grip-end helmet lock? Yeah, it's not Fort Knox secure, but it screens out the idiots.

The helmet guardian really is the ducks guts as far as helmet locks go.
Mounts on the layback license plate&nbsp\\;with locks for 2 helmets.
