Default to much for a wide glide?

I need help.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I'm looking at a 1996 Wide Glide with 1900 miles on it in outstanding, mint condition.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I took it to my indie and he said it was in excellent mechanical shape.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The owner wants $10,500.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Is this to much?

Acording to NADA the average retail is $6315 so I would say yep it is high.

If it's as good a condition as you say, I'd take it.&nbsp\\; Try to offer less see what happens.

I would definately look around at other bikes. The economy sucks right now,and if you have the cash you can make a good deal.$10500 is alot of jack for a 96,way out of line I 'd say.

I gave $9200 for my 97 Wide Glide. He was asking 10,500. But it has a hell of alot of extras. Billet wheels, disc, sprocket. Hyper Charger, Mustang 2-up seat, Vance and Hines, chrome controls.. and alot of add on chrome. As far as motor upgrades it has Andrews cam and big bore kit. And its in like new condition. I could have got alot newer bike for the same price or a little more, but with less extras. I,m 100% happy with my purchase. Just find one that catches your eye.

Damn ... 1,900 miles on a 1996 Wide Glide???&nbsp\\;Sounds like you are buying either from a museum or a guy who owns&nbsp\\;a dozen&nbsp\\;bikes and just never got around to riding it (or a little old lady who only rode it to church on Sundays)!&nbsp\\; I think the question of whether it's 'worth it' or not depends on&nbsp\\;what&nbsp\\;aftermarket extras and modifications have been done.&nbsp\\; Is it a big bore and/or stroked?&nbsp\\; I'd tend to agree with most of the others that $10,500 is&nbsp\\;pretty high.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Good luck, sounds like a great bike.
