RE: Jackyls tank lift Wow, what a differance
I've got a low rider, just like yours and the highest that I could go on a tank lift without interference and without slotting the rear tank mounting holes is 1". Jackl only makes 3" or 2" so I got a 1" lift from rudedog, on this forum. It's perfect for me. Lift looks good, not too radical, is high enough to provide more air to the engine, reduce wind turbulence up front, and raises the speedo up enough so I don't have to take my eyes off the road as much to read it. I highly recommend a 1" lift from rudedog on the low riders, and he only charges $20. Do a search for him on the forum and PM him. Real good dude.

What exactly does the tank lift do? \\;\\\\\\; You mentioned turbulence - what kind of turbulence are you noticing? \\;\\\\\\; I just picked up a Wide Glide to add to my Ducati, so I've gone from one extreme to the other!

I've been wondering the exact same thing. Why are we lifting the tank? What does it do?
