@Kockdiesel, off ebay.

@Airborne, I thought about that after I sent that message.&nbsp\\; Haven't had the chance to do that but will do so tomorrow.&nbsp\\; Like my old hvac boss taught me "make it work."

I installed Jackyl's 2" lift also. I noticed less tubulance also. Smoothed out even more with a fork bag under the headlight. One of the least expensive and easiest ways to change the over all look of the bike.

Airborne, you're gonna laugh. That "thing" on my lower is a koozie from Low Country HD in Charleston,SC. When I visit a new one, I will add it to the bike.

ORIGINAL: timberwolfz28

I don't mean to imply it's incorrect.. I think Jackyl's is the best looking of the lifts I've seen. \\\\\\; I just searched and saw the kits and some better pictures...not as bad as I thought. \\\\\\; The home made kits I see people doing really look hokey though in some instances. \\\\\\; Like I said, they look like shackles.

It's just personal opinion, so please noone take offense to my observation. \\\\\\; I may give it a shot myself, I'm just saying with the front mounting flange perched a couple inches above where it clearly goes, it kinda looks like a sore thumb to me.

But to each their own opinion... right ?
I get you!!... you think the tank looks good angled up....just think the frame should have caused the angle and not a lift that no longer flows with the toptube of the frame.....
anyways I got to meet a fellow with a 2" Jackyl lift a couple weeks ago and it looks real good in person...(he had it on a vivid black street bob).

The tank lift looks much better in life than in a photo...does not look like a sore thumb the way a 2d picture could make it out to look.

What exactly does the tank lift do?&nbsp\\; You mentioned turbulence - what kind of turbulence are you noticing?&nbsp\\; I just picked up a Wide Glide to add to my Ducati, so I've gone from one extreme to the other!
