Am I that only one that likes the look of the tank being raised in the front, but doesn't like the back alley looking way of doing it? \\;\\\\\\; seems very cheesy for bikes that look so good. \\;\\\\\\;
I dunno, maybe it needs a cover or something to disguise the fact that it looks like the tank is jacked up.

Can you explain what you mean? \\; I guess I'm not familiar with the "correct" way of doing it. \\; People see mine and notice something is different and can't tell what or how it is done. \\; Looks very clean to me but maybe I'm missing something. \\; Please enlighten me. \\; I thought the whole point was for the tank to be jacked up (slightly).

I don't mean to imply it's incorrect.. I think Jackyl's is the best looking of the lifts I've seen. \\; I just searched and saw the kits and some better pictures...not as bad as I thought. \\; The home made kits I see people doing really look hokey though in some instances. \\; Like I said, they look like shackles.
It's just personal opinion, so please noone take offense to my observation. \\; I may give it a shot myself, I'm just saying with the front mounting flange perched a couple inches above where it clearly goes, it kinda looks like a sore thumb to me.
But to each their own opinion... right ?

I just installed the 3" lift and now my top tree hits the tank in full lock. \\; Anyone experience that and did dropping down to the 2" correct it? \\; I really love how it looks. \\; Haven't actually rode her yet.  \\; I also installed the pcIII today. \\; I spent a good few hours wrenchin. \\; Felt good. \\; Been a long time.
