Am I that only one that likes the look of the tank being raised in the front, but doesn't like the back alley looking way of doing it?&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; seems very cheesy for bikes that look so good.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;

I dunno, maybe it needs a cover or something to disguise the fact that it looks like the tank is jacked up.
&nbsp\\;
Can you explain what you mean?&nbsp\\; I guess I'm not familiar with the "correct" way of doing it.&nbsp\\; People see mine and notice something is different and can't tell what or how it is done.&nbsp\\; Looks very clean to me but maybe I'm missing something.&nbsp\\; Please enlighten me.&nbsp\\; I thought the whole point was for the tank to be jacked up (slightly).

I don't mean to imply it's incorrect.. I think Jackyl's is the best looking of the lifts I've seen.&nbsp\\; I just searched and saw the kits and some better pictures...not as bad as I thought.&nbsp\\; The home made kits I see people doing really look hokey though in some instances.&nbsp\\; Like I said, they look like shackles.

It's just personal opinion, so please noone take offense to my observation.&nbsp\\; I may give it a shot myself, I'm just saying with the front mounting flange perched a couple inches above where it clearly goes, it kinda looks like a sore thumb to me.

But to each their own opinion... right ?

I just installed the 3" lift and now my top tree hits the tank in full lock.&nbsp\\; Anyone experience that and did dropping down to the 2" correct it?&nbsp\\; I really love how it looks.&nbsp\\; Haven't actually rode her yet. &nbsp\\; I also installed the pcIII today.&nbsp\\; I spent a good few hours wrenchin.&nbsp\\; Felt good.&nbsp\\; Been a long time.

Some have had that issue and reamed out the holes at the rear mount to move the tank to the rear a little bit.

Thanx... Did you notice the case of the "missing seat"... I forgot to put it back on when taking the pics... It was 110 in the garage... LOL
