Well its been a long and somewhat stressful wait but the end is near. I am going to the dealer tomorow to pick up my new street bob. Its been sitting there waiting for me for a couple of weeks now, i was waiting for the bank to finallize my morgatge. Well its all done YEE HAAA. And i get to ride my new bike home. Ive been drooling over the street bob since i read the first article about them, but instead of buying it i bought a buell ulysses, as much as i liked the uly i really dont think i am going to miss it. I will post pics and i thank all of you for your input on this forum.

Miss the Buell?[&:] Time will tell.......they're two completely different bikes. H/D big twin's aren't about high RPM's and rippin' around corners. They're about low RPM grunt, cruisin, goin' on trips to the lake, finding deserted stretches of two lane blacktop, and just see America. You will either grow to love the Harley way, or you will hate it and end up going back to the crotch rocket scene.

That said, I truly hope you enjoy your new DYNA.

Ive had a couple of harleys but didnt ride for a few years then sterted riding dual sports, then bought the buell and loved it but deffinatley missed the harleys. I think i will get another buell some day as a second bike cause as you said they are completely different styles of rides.

 

Congrats! Rode my new Wide Glide home yesterday. First Harley. WOW! I'll never let go. Nothing compares.
