Default O2 sensors

ok - got a ? for you guys. When I go to install my new pipe V&amp\\;H staggered shortys - what do you do with the 02 sensor (s) ?

It all depends... are you going to install a PCIII? if so then you don't need the O2 sensors any more and can stash them away for later use should the EPA get more stringent then they already are. I installed a PCIII along with my python staggered duals (a.k.a. V&H Big Shot Staggereds) and with the O2 eliminators in place i didnt need the sensors any more. They're in my tool chest and i used a 18mm x 1.5 oil drain plug from Autozone to plug up the O2 bungs on the new pipes.

what year is your bike?&nbsp\\; if it has o2 sensors,&nbsp\\; the new pipes should have bungs already installed.&nbsp\\; i have vh ss staggered on my 07 sb and they came with the bungs.

Better check your trans. brackets, earlier 5 speeds used a different exhaust support bracket than 6 speeds

The O2 bungs are on the V&amp\\;H short shots.&nbsp\\; Instructions with the pipes will guide you on instalation.&nbsp\\; Go ahead and pick up some antisieze for the O2 sensors just a little will do.&nbsp\\;
