Vance and Hines straightshot slip ons
I am interested in a pair of Vance and Hines straightshot slipons for my 07 Dyna Superglide. I have been unable to find anyone with these to be able to hear them. Can someone that have these tell me if they are louder than stock and are you satisfied with the sound and quality? \\; Also do new clamps come with these? Thanks for any advice on these slip ons.

I have a pair on my 06 and they are MUCH louder than stock and sound great. I did end up putting the quiet baffles in them though. Just took the edge off - still plenty loud when you open it up. Don't know if new clamps came on them or not as the dealer installed them. Highly recommend the SS's.

I too have the V&\\;H Straightshot Slipons on my 2007 Super Glide Custom. \\; They sound great. \\; They do not come with new clamps. \\; I put them on my bike when the bike had 1,500 miles on it and re-used the clamps with no problem.

Sound Great! Use the original clamps, got a couple of different brands of  \\;slip on mufflers and swap em out once in a while, still using same clamps 13,000 miles later. Just tighten the hell out of them. No torque wrench needed. Ride the hell out of it and watch out for the idiots in the cages.

I had them on my '06, and LOVED them. They sound every bit as good as a full set of pipes. Plus they allow for easy access to check the oil, being that you still keep the stock header pipes. Unlike the big shots. I like those pipes as well, but for my money, the SS are the choice. Check on eBay you can usually find them the cheapest there.
