Default Hate my 2-up look - rant

Finally got around to taking some pix of my bike with the Tallboy seat and sissy bar mounted.&nbsp\\;Wow, when I look at my pix side by side, I hate the 2-up look even worse.&nbsp\\;The wife won't settle for less of a seat though.

Still looks good but I agree the solo seat looks better.

Time to teach her to ride her own.

In all honesty, it does not look all that bad, Greg.
Besides, I bet it's less noticable with you both on it.....
I've yet to find a good looking AND comfortable 2 up seat.

I like the low/lean look better too.&nbsp\\; But in all honesty it ain't that bad, man.

The worst thing I ever did to my bike was put the backrest, Sundowner, and windshield on it... but it's to the point now that I never take them off due to the comfort, and functionality they provide.&nbsp\\; I still get plenty of compliments on the bike even when it's covered in mud/bugs, and strapped up with bulky luggage and accessories.

A guy needs two bikes...... one for looks..... and one set up like a SUV.

You own a screwdriver, do not be afraid to use it....lol. &nbsp\\; Just put the two up seat on when the wife is riding with you.

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I'm in the same boat and like the stripped down look best. I think wide glide is right. Need two bikes

Oh I do.&nbsp\\; Better than that, I bought a seat screw that I can remove with my fingers.&nbsp\\; I can change from solo to 2-up or back in a couple of minutes, including a windshield.&nbsp\\; I only mount that stuff when she rides or if I'm going on a long trip.&nbsp\\; Besides the look, though, I'm not as comfortable with the riding position this seat puts me in - too high up.&nbsp\\; As far as her riding her own, I'd buy her one in a heartbeat if I thought she ever would.

It looks as it should either way you configure it.&nbsp\\; I like it both ways but the headlight looks out of place when you're set up for 2 up.&nbsp\\; Fortunately (in some respects) my bh hasn't been behind me in about 40 years.
