&nbsp\\;I was at&nbsp\\;a local dealer on Saturday and inquired as to why there didn't seem to be a Fat Bob on the Showroom floor.&nbsp\\;A salesmen told me they could get get any Bob's and that dealerships were having problems finding those&nbsp\\;bikes.&nbsp\\;Anyone else heard anything like this?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

 

The father of one of my riding buddies has been trying to find one for a while.&nbsp\\; Seems there aren't any more 08s left and people wanting the fat bob are having to wait for the 09s to come out in a month or so.&nbsp\\; He also said the dealers have been saying the fat bob will only be offered in like 2 or 3 colors.&nbsp\\; Not sure if there is any truth to either though.

None around here all local dealers sold out by March

 

I have asked the dealers around here to call me as soon as one comes in. They keep giving me a shippment date and they all come and go, never does one come in. Was in New Orleans last Monday and surprise, a Crimson Red FatBob just rolled out, got to set on it for awhile (Wouldn't let me Demo it) It is one sweet feeling bike. Love my FXDC, but if I ever traded that would be the bike.

 

Alot of dealers around me are sold out and said they are hard to get but the dealer I bought my SG from had 3 of them.

 

According to the dealer here in Reno, they are a real hot commodity.&nbsp\\; I got the last '08 they are going to see, and they had to get that on trade with another dealer.&nbsp\\; Otherwise, I would have been waiting for the '09s to come out.

I picked mine up this past Saturday.

 

There is a Denim Black available here at Low Country Harley in Charleston SC as of today.

 

I asked back in December at the local dealer. He told me not until late April.&nbsp\\; Bumped into one by accident goingto look at the Rocker&nbsp\\; and well there she was

 

the 09's will be out soon then the "shortage" will be over I bet.

 

I agree - the demand is out there so Harley will supply the&nbsp\\;market with the 09's. I have to admit that I would be a little disappointed to see one around every second&nbsp\\;curve to be honest.&nbsp\\;
