Do yourself a favor... do the first oil change at 1000 miles as recommended.

Then do the next at 3000 instead of 5000. Then 5000.

600 then 1000 is a waste. 400 miles?

BTW, I'm using whatever Harley recommends as long s the warranty is in effect. I'll switch to Amsoil after the warranty ends.
