'07 FXDL runs different since SE SP slip-ons
I don't know if its my imagination or not..so bear with me. \\; I've had my Lowrider since April this year \\;,have 4300 miles on it,Love \\;it \\;but
I had SE SP Slip-ons put on to replace my stock pipes on my '07 FXDL...with the exception of the pipes the bike is completely stock as I wasn't looking for more power..just richer sound(which it now has). \\; I asked the tech before installation if there would be any changes in the bikes performance (good and bad) and was told it would run exactly like before as I wasnt changing AC and having SERT or anything else done..However, its been couple weeks since got the bike back and it seems to have better response and feels a bit peppier. \\; I have had to keep my eye on the speedo lately as I catch myself doing 60 in 4th gear without trying..I don't know if I have been subconsiously getting on it more as I like the new sound or \\;if there's anything to it? Has anyone else done this and noticed the difference? Or do I need to get my head examined??
