Had one jump off the bike today. Been trying to post about it but all I get is errors... I need to find a right bag now.

 

What kind of hardware was it?

 

It was the HD detachable saddlebags. I think I forgot to lock on on and it decided that it no longer wanted to be hanging on the bike and went AIRBORNE... I even think I heard it yell Geromino as it jumped off. It will cost my about $400 to replace it.

 

I HAD IT HAPPEN ON A DIFFERENT BIKE,I TOOK OFF REAL FAST IN FRONT OF MY BUDDIES AND A BAG FELL OFF,THEY'RE STILL LAUGHING.

 

I had the same thing happen but I was turning so going very slow.&nbsp\\; Luckily only minimal damage.&nbsp\\; Seems that the spring that holds it in the lock position isn't strong enough on one side.&nbsp\\; I cut a piece of automotive hose 1/4"ID I think, about 1/4"&nbsp\\;wide, cut a slit in it and fix it around the lock to hold in place instead of relying on the spring.&nbsp\\; It hasn't come off unless I wanted it to since.
