Guys I am a new street bob owner - first street bike.&nbsp\\; I bought a full face hd helmet.&nbsp\\; Wondering how you guys and the community&nbsp\\;feel's about them.&nbsp\\; I would go to a beany or open face helmet but I wear prescription glasses.&nbsp\\; Would buy prescript googles but am contemplatinggetting eyes lasered.

You bought a Harley.&nbsp\\; Nothing else is important (unless you wear chaps and fingerless gloves).&nbsp\\;

You could get the HD profile glasses/goggles and prescription transition lenses, then after laser correction you could use the day and night lenses that come with them for a helmet without a face shield.

There are a lot of options for you for the script thing.&nbsp\\; Panoptx makes good stuff and you can have your script put in them (light sensing lenses)... but they are expensive.
Wear what works for you and what is comfortable.&nbsp\\; I wear a 3/4 with face shield in all but real cold, then go to full.

also, if you are like me, you will never find a pair of glasses/goggles that actually fit well enough to keep the sand/grit from getting into your eyes... unless you go for the full on ski type goggles.

If you don't mind eatin' bugs, get smacked in the face by june bugs, bumble bees, and occasionally road gravel, or don't mind the possibility of grindin' the pavement with your nose, go for the beanie.
&nbsp\\;
Otherwise, you made a good move. Enjoy the bike and don't worry about what others think.
